New Editor appointed for Total 911

Imagine Publishing has announced the appointment of Louise Woodhams as the new Editor of the award-winning Total 911.

A veteran of the automotive magazine industry since 1997, Louise (pictured) has worked across a range of market-leading car titles and is set to bring a wealth of experience and talent to the magazine, say the publishers.

Spending the past five years as Editor of Performance BMW magazine, Louise joins the industry at an exciting time, with the new Porsche 911 recently voted the best vehicle in its class. With the racing and club season about to come in full swing, Total 911 is now primed to take advantage.

“I’m delighted to be given the opportunity to lead the world’s only magazine dedicated to the Porsche 911, and I’m looking forward to making something great become even greater.” said Woodhams. “Porsche is one the most admired manufacturers in the world, its products inspiring near-fanatical loyalty – I hope to replicate the same devotion in the readers of this magazine.”

Editor in Chief Aaron Asadi added, “Louise’s experience is impressive, that’s for all to see. But what made her such a coup for Imagine is the passion she shares, not just for the industry itself, but for making great magazines. Her enthusiasm for both the mach and unique, compelling stories is exactly what this brand needed. The Total 911 audience is in for a treat.”

Damian Butt, Group Managing Director of Imagine said: “I am extremely pleased that Louise is heading up Total 911 – a brand close to my heart and one that we hope to develop even further in 2012. Since acquiring the magazine in 2009 we have expanded its reach internationally on mobile devices, online and with a bookazine range, but this is just the beginning.”

The new Editor’s first issue, Total 911 issue 84, is on sale now.
