Lucy leads the editorial teams across the monthly print title and www.gardensillustrated.com reporting to Gardens Illustrated Publisher Marie Davies.
Lucy joins Gardens Illustrated from Bauer Media where she was a member of the launch team and Gardening Editor at Modern Gardens. Previously she has worked as a freelance garden journalist for The Guardian, Grow Your Own, Kitchen Garden and Garden News magazines and as a commercial horticultural copywriter. Lucy studied the R.H.S. certificate whilst working as a teacher and then took a diploma in Plants and Plantsmanship at Chelsea Physic Garden. Her first book, Brilliant and Wild, about new perennial planting in smaller spaces, will be published in 2018.
