Last week NME announced the release of NME The Cover 2023–2024 – a coffee-table book celebrating one year of NME’s support for some of the boldest, most exciting and inspiring emerging artists through its flagship franchise, The Cover. The publisher says the book is available exclusively online at music retailer Dawsons.

NME says the 300-page hardcover book is a special collector’s piece for the NME community, presenting the first 50 artists featured on The Cover – which, after being relaunched in May 2023, is exclusively dedicated to championing new talent from around the world. The new book showcases each bespoke cover artwork and every artist interview feature from the first year of The Cover, alongside stunning imagery shot by photographers all over the world, added the publisher.

NME says The Cover 2023–2024 captures the story of an incredible year in new music, celebrating a dynamic mix of global artists who embody NME’s mission of breaking what’s new and what’s next. The publisher says featured artists include BandLab breakthrough d4vd, Brit Award-winning band The Last Dinner Party, K-pop sensations ENHYPEN, Icelandic jazz-pop singer Laufey, J-pop unit Yoasobi and global pop phenomenon Chappell Roan.

Stocked exclusively online through music retailer Dawsons, NME The Cover 2023–2024 is available to order now here – with a special 20% launch discount, with the book shipping from December 16 2024.

Holly Bishop, chief operating and commercial officer at NME Networks says: “NME The Cover 2023–2024 represents the core of NME’s mission: uncovering the emerging artists shaping culture today. This book is more than just a celebration of the new talent we’ve championed on The Cover – it’s a tribute to the global community of creators, photographers, and fans who make this journey so worthwhile.
