Oneshot: 100 Greatest Fights

100 Greatest Fights, a oneshot from Boxing News, goes on sale 19 April, price £9.99.

According to distributors Seymour: Which was better – the Rumble in the Jungle or the Thrilla in Manila? Or did the St Valentine's Day Massacre top both for drama? Now the Boxing News team follow last year's 100 Greatest Boxers of All-Time with the 100 Greatest Fights of All-Time, a special 164-page publication that is sure to provoke intense debate among the sport's fans.

A panel of experts and historians have chosen a century of fights that defined the sport, counting down from 100 to number one. It spans the decades and crosses the continents, from the heavyweights that traditionally carry the sport to the flyweights renowned for their non-stop action.

Sure to figure are fights featuring boxing's biggest stars, such as Muhammad Ali, Rocky Marciano and Sugar Ray Robinson. But there is also room for less heralded names, who earned their places in boxing history by participating in contests packed with outstanding excitement and drama. There's also room for controversial endings, debatable decisions and spectacular knockouts.

Who will figure where in our countdown? Some of our choices may surprise you. Some may shock or delight you. But every boxing fan will want to own a copy of the 100 Greatest Fights of All-Time.
