Julie Jones has been Joint Managing Director for the past three years. Redan’s board of directors has now appointed her to take the helm as Managing Director, after thirteen years as a major contributor to the company’s success.
Jones joined Redan in April 2003 as Marketing Manager, having previously held the title of Group Marketing Services Manager at Midland News Association, the regional newspaper group. In 2005, she was promoted to Publishing Director, becoming more heavily involved in major licensing and retail decisions, before becoming Joint Managing Director in 2013.
During her thirteen years at Redan Publishing, Jones has become a key decision maker in all aspects of the business from the signing of new licenses, to the sale and distribution of all titles. Based in Shrewsbury, Redan is a leading publisher of children’s magazines with brands like Peppa Pig and In the Night Garden in its portfolio of titles.
