Sam Jones to leave Bauer

Bauer Media’s Group Digital MD, Sam Jones, has decided to leave the business at the end of October.

Under his tenure, says Bauer Media, the company has greatly strengthened its digital capability, strategy and approach, resulting in strong growth at the digital division. In the past two years Sam has unified all digital operations in the UK; re-developed Bauer’s technology platforms, consolidated 100+ products; scaled monetisation across native, social and programmatic and launched a mobile first data and insight stack which has been integrated across the group. Bauer has seen considerable growth in its automotive, audio, native and data businesses and ultimately delivered market beating revenue growth, says the company.

This year we have seen these foundations deliver market beating digital revenue growth across the group.
