According to Johnston Press: This follows an initial relaunch in May when 23 titles relaunched. The first phase included five daily newspapers which adopted a weekly format and five weeklies which changed from broadsheet to tabloid.
Daily title The News at Portsmouth is part of the second phase but has remained a daily title. There are no plans to convert any more daily titles to weeklies.
Further market research will be undertaken on the second phase and this will help inform the final stage of relaunches which is scheduled to begin in early 2013.
