SIPA Europe launched

SIPA (Specialized Information Publishers Association) has announced that SIPA Europe is now up and running, chaired by Jeska Harrington Gould, MD of Research.

The key aim for the organisation, says SIPA, is to help content information providers generate profit from the content they produce and deliver.

The SIPA Europe Board comprises of industry experts from leading publishers, marketers and agencies, and is based in London. In the past, ‘SIPA UK’ serviced its UK members, now with a revamped board, and extra funding (and a new name!) – SIPA Europe promises more events, skills development and enhanced engagement and benefits for members right across Europe.

Jeska Harrington Gould (pictured), SIPA Europe chair, comments: “SIPA Europe now delivers a local service looking after the needs of paid content information providers right across Europe. If you are in paid content publishing, or provide products and services to that sector, you should take a look at SIPA.”

With almost 2,000 member professionals in organisations across the North America and Europe, SIPA is an international trade association dedicated to advancing the interests of commercial information providers serving niche communities.

SIPA has members across Europe, with an established long term user base in UK and Germany, and membership is growing fast.

SIPA claims to be a great place to learn and engage more: improve the way companies do business, network with colleagues, attend conferences, training sessions, webinars, and social evenings. In addition, employers can benefit from better trained staff, and help employee retention through bespoke training courses.

Matt Salt, SIPA Executive Director, adds: “For years, SIPA has been known as the association for sharing. Now Europeans can get more easily involved, plus it has the new website to support that well-earned reputation.

“Our mission is clear – to help commercial enterprises generate profit from their content. We are also committed to developing the skills of those who work in this industry and to advocating for the interests of the community.”
