We are committed to providing content that fuels our readers' passions and interests and present our readers with an interesting and unique array of content from the wide range of magazines and newspapers available on our app.”
Sophie Hanbury, director of strategic content partnerships for The Independent and Evening Standard says: “We are really happy to be partnering with Readly for their Retro Series. The Evening Standard is London's most iconic news brand and has served Londoners since 1827, boasting a rich heritage of quality news coverage and often being the first newspaper to publish significant sporting events of the moment. Leveraging our incredible print archive to surface the key moments from the world's Olympics opening ceremonies and Games over the years has been a fascinating project and we’re looking forward to working on other archival collaborations in the future.”
According to Readly, The Evening Standard reaches over 18 million cross-platform readers a month, with recent digital growth leading to the highest growth of all quality newspaper brands in the first half of 2024 (Pamco, H1 23 vs H2 23, Total Brand Reach).
Readly says The Evening Standard Olympic Retro series is its second retro series with a national newspaper this year and supports its long term plan to deliver its subscribers with a breadth of quality content as part of the subscription. The collection is now available to Readly subscribers as part of the all you can read digital magazine and newspaper subscription.
