Slash in Classic Rock Fanpack

Slash – one of the most legendary and revered guitarists in rock history – is set to unleash his second solo album as part of an exclusive Classic Rock collector’s Fanpack on 21 May.

The Fanpack will feature the full studio album plus two exclusive bonus tracks which are only available in this unique offering. The Fanpack will also include a 132-page deluxe magazine which delves deep into the world of the iconic former Guns N’ Roses lead guitarist.

According to the publishers, key highlights include:

• An in-depth interview with Slash and his singer and co-songriter Myles Kennedy

• A full track-by-track breakdown of the new album with commentary from Slash and Myles

• Interviews with album producer Eric Valentine and sleeve designer Frank Maddocks

• An exclusive report from the one-off Velvet Revolver reunion earlier this year

• A look at what the future holds for Slash – including the induction of Guns N’ Roses into this years Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

• An exclusive competition to win a limited Slash Epiphone Les Paul guitar

The Fanpack will also include a pin badge and artwork poster, and will be available to buy via more than 2,000 retail outlets on newsstands nationally, as well as the traditional high street and online music retailers.

This second partnership with Slash delivers a new album, with exclusive-to-us extra tracks, in a deluxe format with a bespoke magazine and a host of additional extras – all for a premium price.

The new Slash album will follow his 2010 debut album Slash, which was also released in Fanpack format through Classic Rock and has now sold over 100,000 copies in the UK alone. For the new album, Slash – along with bandmates Myles Kennedy (vocals), Brent Fitz (drums) and Todd Kerns (bass) – sees Slash teaming up once again with producer Eric Valentine.
