Specialist Media Show launches online event

The organisers of the Specialist Media Show are holding their first online event, on 6-7 November.

The Specialist Media Show organisers over the last three years have attracted leaders and decision makers across the UK's niche publishing industry to their annual live event. With the launch of their first online event on 6-7 November the geographical barriers exhibitions and conferences create have been lifted. Current registrations already bear this out with publishers registering from Australia, Canada, Ireland, Germany and Africa as well as the UK.

The event has also continued, say the organisers, to attract senior leaders within niche publishing with 52% of the total registered to date holding senior, leadership positions within publishing; Chief Executive, CEO, Director, Managing Director, General Manager, Publisher to Head of Marketing.

“The Specialist Media Online event gives niche publishers the opportunity to experience an online event first hand. Many are considering or are already using online events in their own markets, as seen in our Specialist Media Insights research earlier this year. The aim for Specialist Media Online is to make our live event more accessible and help niche publishers keep up to date with the latest learning and new innovation so they can become pioneers in their markets.” Carolyn Morgan, Event Director.

The organisers have partnered with online event specialists Virtual Ivent to create this online event to lead the way for niche publishers as they expand beyond traditional print into digital, mobile, events and online marketing.  The event includes a schedule of online workshop presentations, expert Q&As, interactive exhibition stands and online networking.

The Specialist Media Online Event is supported by InPublishing, Adestra, Brad Insight, Virtual Ivent, Subhub, The Media Briefing and Love Media Sales.
