Michael White, one of the UK’s foremost political journalists and former Political Editor of The Guardian, joins as Election Editor.
And Iain Dale, the Leave-leaning LBC broadcaster and political pundit, joins as Election Diarist.
Both will contribute to each week’s newspaper, which is published every Friday.

The New European also announced it is launching a special edition for the Republic of Ireland from today.
Commenting on the edition, Kelly said: “We've had great interest from people in the Republic of Ireland about the paper, especially since it became clear that Brexit presents a fundamental challenge to the island's future. We have decided to produce a new edition here and look forward to welcoming many pro-EU readers to The New European community."
