5 fifteen promotes Merv Griffin

5 fifteen, one of the leading UK software companies supplying dedicated software to publishers throughout the world, has promoted Merv Griffin to Sales and Marketing Director in order to further grow its expanding markets worldwide, co-ordinate sales efforts and generate new business opportunities.

In particular Merv (pictured) will play a key role in extending 5 fifteen’s reach into the newspaper sector where it has seen recent success with a large order of its adDEPOT advertising booking system from Media Norge. He is also responsible for leading revenue growth from both new and existing client relationships.

“5 fifteen is a company with high ambitions to expand into the newspaper market with its innovative publishing solutions and has already gone some way to making its mark,” explains Merv Griffin. “I am looking forward to heading the team at this pivotal point and building on the great work already completed to date.”

Rod Fenwick, Managing Director at 5 fifteen, comments, “With over two decades of experience in publishing Merv has already proved to be an impressive asset to the team. We now have the perfect opportunity to develop and drive forward the business, building on the unique capabilities of our products. Businesses in the publishing environment need to have access to the tools that will maximise their effectiveness and keep them competitive and I believe 5 fifteen is in a very strong position to achieve this.”
