The company have just tied up a deal to fulfil and distribute the international edition of the New England Journal of Medicine based in Boston (USA).
This much-respected, 199 year-old publication is an English language, peer-reviewed medical journal published by the Massachusetts Medical Society and is one of the most influential periodicals in clinical medicine worldwide. NEJM is currently mailed to 139 countries around the world.
This new account for the Air Business Group comes on top of other recent new business wins and confirms the company’s position as the UK’s market leader in global distribution, fulfilment and integrated subscriptions management, says the company.
In fact, says Air Business, the business can boast an impressive track record in recent years. The fastest-growing company in magazine distribution, they have achieved market-leading growth from an annual turnover of £8 million to a projected £40 million in 2011, in just seven years.
Speaking of the new business win, Jonathan Middleton (pictured), Group Business Development and Marketing Director of Air Business, said, “Here at Air Business, we are enormously proud to have the opportunity to work with such a historic, influential and well-respected medical publication. The readership of NEJM includes leading clinicians and medical professionals around the world for whom timely, reliable delivery is imperative. We can assure them that delivery of their weekly issue is in safe hands and will be for many years to come.”
