Bauer Media has announced the appointment of Amrit Baidwan as general manager – digital publishing UK, a new role focused on accelerating the company’s digital growth through its commercial operations.
According to Bauer Media, Amrit will lead all revenue-generating teams across digital operations, brand propositions, eCommerce, and advertising operations. She will work closely with the company’s UK digital leaders in editorial and audience development, and product & technology to strengthen Bauer’s digital publishing performance.

Amrit brings a wealth of experience from Dennis Publishing, Autovia and most recently Carwow, where she served as global media operations and audience director. She led the launch of the new Auto Express digital commerce proposition to help drive the digital strategy across brands such as Carbuyer, EVO, and Driving Electric. In previous roles, she led the launch of the EV website DrivingElectric and has led teams across product, SEO, data & insights, CRM, media operations, publishing and marketing.
Amrit also serves as co-chair of the Association of Online Publishers’ Audience Development Steering Group and has previously been recognised by the organisation as a rising star in digital media.
