All three will report to Global Chief Revenue and Client Partnerships Officer Paul Caine.
Additionally, Michael Dukmejian has moved into a new role at Bloomberg Media focused on US financial sales.
Keith Grossman has been named Head of US Sales for Bloomberg Media. He moves into that role from his current position as Publisher, Bloomberg Digital and Digital Products. He will be the central point of leadership for the US sales organization and work alongside global sales and marketing lead partners to continue building the company’s growing cross-platform momentum. Grossman was just named to the Adweek 50 for the second consecutive year - the only multi-platform publishing executive on the list, which ranks the most indispensable executives in marketing, tech, and media. Before joining Bloomberg Media in June 2014, Grossman was the associate publisher of Wired and Ars Technica. He will continue to be based in New York City.
Viktoria Degtar is moving to London to take on the role of Head of EMEA Sales after serving as group publisher in charge of Bloomberg’s LIVE events division and multi-platform sales for the last 12 months. Degtar will lead EMEA’s sales leadership team of Emma Winchurch-Beale, Damian Douglas, and Simon Baker, as well as collaborate with the marketing, advertising operations and data teams. Prior to her arrival at Bloomberg Media at the end of 2014, Degtar was the Vice President of Sales for The Huffington Post. Before that, she spent five years as the National Sales Director for The Financial Times.
Michael Dukmejian, previously Group Publisher for Bloomberg Markets and Emerging Business, will now be the Head of US Financial Sales, reporting to Grossman. He will have direct oversight of Enterprise Sales, Boston, Latin America, Atlanta, Education, Special Sections and Bloomberg Briefs teams. Dukmejian was the founding publisher of Bloomberg’s successful global luxury lifestyle magazine, Bloomberg Pursuits. Before coming to Bloomberg, Dukmejian spent 26 years at Time Inc., where he published titles such as Fortune and Money and oversaw CNNMoney.com.
“Under the tenures of Keith, Vik and Mark, Bloomberg Media’s ad sales have become an award-winning multi-platform powerhouse,” says Caine. “These are well-deserved promotions and will help our global teams serve our advertising clients even better as we move into 2016.”
