Announcing the appointment, Business Insider CEO Barbara Peng said: “Jamie has worked at The Wall Street Journal for more than 20 years and currently leads their global business and tech coverage. She led the corporate team during the pandemic, chronicling the arrival of inflation, labor shortages, and later mounting pressures on the white-collar workforce. She has been a leader of the Journal's technology coverage including on AI and the dominance of the tech giants. Jamie is a well-respected leader known for her hustle and outstanding news judgment.
