BusinessGreen’s digital portfolio gets a makeover

The BusinessGreen digital portfolio has been improved, say publishes Incisive Media. It now includes a fully responsive and redesigned website paired with a live app that continuously updates the news.

BusinessGreen is the first Incisive Business brand to undergo a digital makeover in 2016, with CRN and Computing hot on its heels.

As users increasingly consume information across multiple devices, a responsive design and a consistent user experience is crucial for commercial success, says the company. On the new BusinessGreen website users will find a mix of content, events and jobs; a formula for showcasing all the brand assets while offering a more engaging user experience.

The content is now easier to find with one simple navigation menu, and related articles at the bottom of each page invite readers to delve deeper. The website and live app both offer subscribers more personalisation. They can now bookmark their favourite articles and easily share them with colleagues.

The new digital platforms bring fresh subscriber content too; a series of short analysis pieces called ‘The Green Take’ explaining the implications of the latest green business news; and ‘2022’, a new series of stories on what the green economy will offer over the next six years.

“BusinessGreen provides valuable insight into one of the most dynamic sectors of the UK economy,” said Alan Loader, Publishing Director of BusinessGreen. “With the new BusinessGreen responsive site we are now providing UK sustainability leaders with market-leading content via a genuinely market-leading platform; one that provides a hugely improved mobile viewing experience to BusinessGreen’s growing subscriber base.”

The website and app have been redeveloped by Incisive Media’s in-house digital team, with significant input from editorial, sales and product teams.
