Charlotte Moore appointed editor of InStyle

Fashion and beauty title InStyle yesterday announced the appointment of Charlotte Moore as its editor, taking over from Suzanne Imre following her secondment from Livingetc.

Currently editor of IPC Southbank sister title Marie Claire Runway and deputy editor of Marie Claire, Charlotte has more than a decade’s experience in women’s glossies, including as deputy editor of InStyle. Prior to joining IPC Southbank, Charlotte was features writer at Elle and has written for Time Out, Red and the Independent on Sunday.

Rita Lewis, publishing director, InStyle says: “Charlotte is steeped in the world of women’s glossies and has enjoyed tremendous success at Marie Claire. I am delighted to welcome her as the new editor of InStyle. I would also like to thank Suzanne for being an excellent custodian of the brand in the last few months.”

Charlotte Moore says: “I am thrilled to be joining InStyle. With its unique combination of feel-good fashion and the coolest celebrities, it's always been a magazine I've loved reading. To have the opportunity to edit it now, feels like the best job in the world.”

Charlotte takes up her position on 3rd February. Suzanne will return to her role as editor of Livingetc and acting editor Neil McLennan will resume his role as deputy editor of Livingetc.
