WIRED 2012 Together with Telefónica will be held on 25th and 26th October in central London, it was announced yesterday.

This follows the successful inaugural WIRED 2011 event, held in October last year. Global influencers including Alex Laskey, Alexander Ljung, Andrew Blake, Aza Raskin, Ben Hammersley, Bjarke Ingels, Carie Lemack, Chris Anderson, Christopher Mikkelsen, Dr. Debbie Berebichez, Eyal Gever, Geoff McGrath, Gil Hirsch, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Heather Knight, Henry Robinson, Joanna Shields, John Underkoffler, Juliana Rotich, Lisa Harouni, Luke Johnson, Matthew Key, Peter Sunde, Professor Hertz, Rachel Botsman, Richard Seymour, Rory Sutherland, Russell Davies, Stanley Yang, Tom Hulme, Ulla-Maaria Engeström, Werner Vogels and Yossi Vardi participated in WIRED 2011.

A haven for disruptive thinking and radical ideas, WIRED events are brain food for personal development on a wide range of topics, from science and business to pop-culture and politics, say the publishers. At WIRED 2012 attendees will have the opportunity to network with like-minded, intellectually curious and creative individuals, from entrepreneurs and investors to academics and designers. Stimulating as much debate off-stage as on, WIRED 2012 Together with Telefónica will set the agenda and provide a unique platform from which to engage with the future.

The two-day WIRED 2012 event will be held at The Brewery, in the heart of the City of London. There are a limited number of tickets available for WIRED 2012, at a price of £1193. (A 10% discount is available to “early-birds” until 31st July. There is also a discount available to WIRED subscribers.)

Speakers will be announced in the coming weeks. For further information, or for registration, go to www.wiredevent.co.uk. Follow @ #wired12.

It is also a great opportunity for Telefónica Digital and O2 to showcase our ground-breaking digital services.”
