Gavin Miller, Managing Director of B2B publisher Ultima Media, is set to launch a new strategic and cost management business, focused on “the business of marketing transformation in the age of Net Zero”.

The Profitabl Partnership will partner with Auditel, a UK business transformation and strategic procurement consultancy to help organisations recover and reset from the Covid crisis and to help them focus on business transformation through marketing, procurement and sustainability solutions, to rebuild value and both top and bottom-line growth, says the company.

Gavin Miller, who has over 20 years at a senior level for both client-side SME media, marketing and marketing services businesses, including BBC Worldwide, Universal Pictures and latterly Ultima Media, commented: “Balancing operations, innovation and growth ambitions with effective cost management, spend and ‘profitable’ growth can be a challenge for so many businesses. How do I re-set, re-build and grow post crisis, how and what products and services do I need to invest in, what am I spending now and am I getting the best possible value for my spend and from the right choice of suppliers? How do I create savings and increase my cash-flow to then invest again in the right products and services and suppliers to achieve the best price and get the best possible value? It’s these challenges and questions that have given me the spur to start a new strategic and cost management business. And in the age of Net Zero, to make a difference that matters to SMEs. Helping them transform through reduced costs, savings and increased cash-flow, in order to invest for growth.

The new partnership will focus initially on the wider media and marketing industries including media, broadcast, publishing, events, marketing, film, print and digital as well as drawing on Auditel’s experience and expertise in cost and spend categories such as Utilities & Environment, IT services, Technology, Compliance, Insurance, Business Services and Logistics.

Miller will move to a part time role with Ultima Media until the end of the year.
