Grazia celebrates Kate Moss’ Silver Jubilee

Grazia magazine is celebrating 25 years of Kate Moss’ supermodel career with a special issue in print, on GraziaDaily.co.uk and on the iPad edition.

This week’s issue will include a 15-page feature devoted to the cultural icon, focusing on her fashion, loves and iconic photography.

Moss is currently the face of Rimmel London, self-tan brand St Tropez and an ambassador for Kerastase styling products, all of whom advertise in this special issue. Both Rimmel and St Tropez have booked double page spreads in the magazine, with St Tropez advertising in Grazia for the first time this year.

In addition, Grazia and Kate Moss fans will be able to download a special souvenir iPad issue this week, featuring 25 covers spanning Kate’s illustrious career.

Lauren Holleyoake, Publishing Manager, Grazia, commented: “Kate Moss is the most famous model in the world and an icon of our generation. She epitomises the influence of the Grazia brand and her extraordinary impact on fashion and society is deserving of a special Grazia issue. This celebratory multi-platform edition is an  example of how the brand continues to innovate and surprise its advertisers and upscale audience.”

Discovered in 1988 by Storm Model Management founder, Sarah Doukas, while queuing for a flight home from New York’s JFK airport, Croydon-born Kate had already made her first cover shoot for The Face magazine at just 16. She immediately exploded into the fashion world thanks to the black and white shoot by Corinne Day of a freckly, smiling teenage Kate in a feather headdress.  Other career highlights include the Calvin Klein jeans campaign she did with Mark Wahlberg in 1992, appearing on more than 300 magazine covers, being painted by her friend and artist Lucian Freud in 2002, and the Mario Testino shoot for her 2011 wedding, wearing Galliano.
