The Times and Sunday Times have announced a new weekly personal finance podcast, Feel Better About Money.

The publisher says hosted by Holly Mead and Lucy Andrews from The Times and Sunday Times money team, this new podcast blends financial advice with a fresh, positive approach. Each episode will offer an informative, fun, and supportive take on personal finance — like the trusted Times Money section, added the publisher.

Holly Mead is the deputy money editor at The Times and Sunday Times. She covers everything from investing and insurance to mortgages and savings—even electric cars.

Lucy Andrews is a money reporter at The Times and Sunday Times. A former senior reporter and consumer champion at The Sun, she covers a wide range of personal finance topics, from mortgages to banks and energy bills.

Each week, The Times and Sunday Times says Holly and Lucy will tackle a specific financial topic, featuring case studies and insights from the Times Money and Business teams. Their goal is to equip listeners with practical tips and information to make smarter financial decisions. From managing debt and saving for a pension to buying a house or deciding whether to insure your cat—this podcast will cover the big questions and everyday dilemmas alike.

Johanna Noble, money editor at The Times and Sunday Times, says: “Feel Better About Money is all about demystifying the world of personal finance. Holly and Lucy will make these important conversations engaging and approachable, helping listeners make informed decisions that can improve their financial wellbeing. The podcast feels like an extension of the trusted advice readers have come to expect from Times Money.”

In the first episode which is available now, Holly talks about budgeting and the budget, now less than a week away. The publisher says she looks at the many different aspects of money to help people make better financial decisions about pensions, mortgages, investments. With so many suggestions, rumours and supposed leaks what should the public be preparing for and how?
