Haymarket Media Inc welcomes Michael Medwig as CRO

Haymarket Media Inc, the US branch of Haymarket Media Group, this week announced the hire of Michael Medwig as Chief Revenue Officer, Business Media.

Medwig will be responsible for overseeing the commercial operations of six brands: SC Magazine, PR Week US, Direct Marketing News, including The Hub, Medical Marketing & Media, Campaign US and McKnight’s Long Term Care News. Medwig will partner closely with Julia Hood, EVP and Chief Content Officer, Business Media.

With more than 20 years of media experience, Medwig has developed and executed strategic sales and growth plans for B2B and B2C media brands, from early stage models to established market leaders. He is tasked with building on Haymarket’s already successful model and establishing a strategy for revenue growth across digital, print and events for his brands, says Haymarket.

Before joining Haymarket, Medwig was VP of Integrated Sales at the Newspaper National Network/N3 Digital. He has served in senior management roles at Ziff Davis, RealNetworks and Vibrant Media. He was also VP of National Advertising at ALM Media for nine years, directing the sales strategy across all channels.
