Investment Week has been a trusted source of news, analysis and opinion for the UK investment, wealth management and funds industry for almost three decades, says the publisher. Investment Week says its aim is to provide reliable, independent, and specialist journalism that helps professionals stay informed in a fast-moving and increasingly complex market.
Access to all Investment Week content and newsletters will remain free for professionals involved in advising, managing and/or analysing investments and the new paid membership tier will apply to individuals who are reliant on Investment Week news and insight, but whose roles do not include advising, managing and/or analysing investments, the publisher has announced.
The introduction of a paid membership tier will help us protect the quality, independence and integrity of Investment Week’s journalism, while ensuring the title remains a credible and valuable source of insight for the wider market, the publisher continued. As a B2B Publication it says it is committed to maintaining high-quality specialist journalism and continuing to invest in experienced editorial teams, expert analysis, trusted opinion and relevant digital products.
For readers within the new membership tier, access will remain open to one free article per month, says Investment Week. Users will then need to pay to get access to all Investment Week content and receive a more enhanced and relevant reader experience, designed around the content needs of their professional cohort.
Membership will include access to regular Investment Week journalism, as well as a dedicated monthly curated newsletter tailored to their role. This newsletter will bring together the most relevant news, analysis and opinion in one place, helping members cut through the volume of market information and stay closer to the issues, trends and developments most important to them, added the publisher.
Priced at £365 per year, equivalent to £1 per day, the publisher says the membership represents a modest contribution towards the specialist journalism, market insight and trusted commentary Investment Week provides, while also giving members a more focused and valuable content experience.
Many financial and business media brands have long operated paid membership or subscription models. For Investment Week, the publisher says this is a considered step towards a more sustainable future, one that allows them to continue investing in independent, authoritative and high-quality journalism for the investment community, while delivering greater relevance and value to the readers who choose to become members.
The new membership tier launched across Investment Week from Tuesday 7 July, 2026.
