Jazzwise launches digital archive

Jazz magazine, Jazzwise, yesterday launched its complete digital archive in partnership with Exact Editions.

Every issue of the monthly magazine ever published is now instantly available on a range of digital platforms, including web, iOS, and Android.

Since its launch in 1997 Jazzwise has established itself as a leading voice in Jazz culture. With the complete archive, subscribers can now search and share articles from over 200 issues of the monthly publication. Each archived issue contains the latest Jazz news, opinion pieces, gossip, reviews and a gig guide, creating a valuable resource for Jazz connoisseurs around the world.

The archive project, developed in partnership with Exact Editions, ensures that every subscriber will instantly be able to access the complete archive as part of their subscription. The digital platform utilises Exact Editions advanced search technology, so that readers can easily find their favourite articles from issues past, making for a valuable research tool, says Exact Editions.

Jon Newey, Editor of Jazzwise says about the archive launch: “At Jazzwise we are excited to be able to offer the complete archive to our subscribers, new and old. We are sure that they will take great pleasure in browsing through the decades of back issues, discovering new and old articles and music. It is great to see so many years of the magazine all in one place.”

Daryl Rayner, Managing Director of Exact Editions says: “The complete Jazzwise archive looks fantastic, it’s fascinating to be able to explore across the years of issues. The 19 years and rising of back issues helps create a really strong subscription product for individuals and institutions.”
