Torben (pictured) will be responsible for maintaining and improving the technical infrastructure of the group and providing systems and support to further digitise the company in its content and commerce development.
This is a key role for Local World as it heads towards becoming a digitised, transactional business.
Torben is currently Group CIO, Mecom Group Plc where he implemented the digital transformation of Mecom’s web, tablet and mobile landscape and e-commerce platforms. Prior to this he was CIO for Berlingske Media, Director of Digital Media and Devoteam Consulting and Head of Technology at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation.
