The Mail has announced it has hit three milestones on TikTok this month, with:
- 15 million followers across all Mail accounts
- 10 million followers on Daily Mail account
- 1 million followers on Daily Mail UK account
In the past year, the Daily Mail says its 15,324 posts across all its TikTok accounts, scored 13.6 billion views and 8.3 million new followers.
A Mail spokesperson said: “The diverse range of content on the video-sharing platform has captivated the attention of a new generation of viewers and is inspiring audiences worldwide.
“This achievement encompasses multiple specialised accounts under the Mail umbrella, including the global news account, UK news, crime, sport, royals, showbiz, US and Australia.”
The Daily Mail claims its main account is now the top news publisher on TikTok with over ten million followers. The Daily Mail says its UK account has also passed the 1 million follower mark.
