Organisers, Oyster House Media, say they were delighted with the levels of attendance, (official attendance figure: 1,990) and the positive post show feedback from the exhibitors about the level of sales and business achieved over the two day show.
Oyster House MD, Hugo Montgomery-Swan stated:“I don’t mind admitting it required a leap of faith, not only for us as show organisers but also for all those companies who chose to support the show by exhibiting. But there is no doubt that the entire bass community has been rewarded for its efforts and commitment to this unique show. The spirit and sense of community was tangible throughout, with everyone, including the performing artists, revelling in the genuinely positive atmosphere of this dedicated music show. Even before the show closed on Sunday afternoon, we had pledges of support for 2012 which makes us even more convinced that specialist/dedicated music shows are the way forward for Oyster House and the markets our music magazines represent.”
