Meet Sainsbury’s magazine’s dishiest dad!

All hail Will Boud – the nation’s dishiest dad! Will, from Nottingham, was crowned by the team at Sainsbury’s magazine after winning a fiercely fought cook-off at the London head office.

Nominated by his partner Joanna, Will’s prize-winning recipe for Crispy coated cod with roast squash and tomato sauce is in the March issue, out now.

With a huge number of entries whittled down to shortlist of just six dads, the budding culinary champs were invited to the magazine’s test kitchens to cook their recipes against the clock in a bid for the Dishy Dad prize.

Helena Lang, editor of Sainsbury’s magazine says: “It’s so refreshing to see dads cooking really well for their families and enjoying it too, especially since our 2011 survey showed that 65 per cent of women still do all the cooking for their families. All our finalists cooked delicious, achievable suppers, but Will’s had that extra special something. Joanna’s a very lucky woman!’

Will (pictured) was thrilled to grab the first-ever Dishy Dad title and says, “I love cooking for my girlfriend and my daughter. The cook-off was nerve-racking.but I’d like to think I hid my fear. Winning was fantastic, it was like my very own MasterChef moment!”.
