Metro announces two senior sales team appointments

Metro yesterday announced that Jo Mazenko has been promoted to Head of Planning and Sean Parrott has been promoted to Head of Trading.

Over the last six months Jo has been instrumental in getting Metro’s Creative Planning team to the forefront of agencies minds, says Metro. Jo has also worked closely with Sophie Robinson on the launch of Story, Metro’s internal creative agency. Jo originally joined Metro in March 2006 as an Account Exec, she was promoted to Senior Planner in 2008, and then Group Head in October 2012.

Sean Parrott has been promoted to Head of Trading following a successful stint as Group Head. Working alongside Grant Woodthorpe, Sean plays a key role in the day to day running of the sales team. Sean joined Metro in July 2004 as Account Exec, rising in February 2010 to Account Manager, and then Group Head in October 2012.

In the last six months it’s great to see how they have both developed in their roles and made a huge contribution to the revival of the business which has been clearly demonstrated with the significantly improved revenue performances.
