Mills & Boon and Cosmopolitan partner to publish Sylvia Day ebook

Mills & Boon, the publisher of romantic fiction, has announced the publication of Cosmo Red-Hot Reads, a new ebook series.

Cosmo Red-Hot Reads is a new eBook series published by Mills & Boon in association with Cosmopolitan.  

Sylvia Day, a multi-award winning novelist whose most recent new titles both debuted at #1 on the Sunday Times and New York Times bestsellers lists and are two of the UK’s fastest-selling paperback novels of the last decade, will initially deliver two novellas: the first, Afterburn, will be published as an eBook on August 15 2013. 

Her second title, Aftershock, will be released on November 12 2013. Both titles will be connected editorially and feature characters newly created for the Cosmo Mills & Boon series. Afterburn and Aftershock will also be released as a two-in-one paperback in November 2013, the first Cosmo Red- Hot Reads from Mills & Boon title to be published in print format.

Mills & Boon intends to publish two original Cosmo Red-Hot Reads titles per month from September 2013. The novels will feature strong narratives focusing on female protagonists who embody the Cosmo ethos, and will bear both the Cosmo and Mills & Boon logos on their covers. The shorter length of Cosmo Red-Hot Reads titles – approximately 30,000 words per title – will appeal to readers on a variety of platforms, including mobile devices.
