NatMag announces Cosmopolitan Publishing Director

National Magazine Company has announced the high profile appointment of Ella Dolphin to Publishing Director of Cosmopolitan UK.

Ella joins Cosmopolitan from Bauer Consumer Media where she is currently Publisher of high end weekly fashion and beauty magazine, Grazia. Before Grazia, she was Head of Magazines at the Mail on Sunday and latterly at the combined Mail Newspapers group, where she launched the highly successful lifestyle men’s magazine, Live.

Ella, who began her career at AdMedia Ltd before joining Clear Channel UK in 2001, also oversaw the ad sales teams responsible for generating revenue for the Mail newspapers’ magazine supplements, You and Weekend.

In her new role with Cosmopolitan, Ella will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing commercial success across Cosmopolitan’s magazine, website and multiple brand extensions. She will work with Editor, Louise Court, to further cement the iconic brand’s position and reputation in the market, while also driving innovation and multiple brand activity.

Cosmopolitan, which has a circulation of 400,575 in the UK, is the largest-selling young women's magazine in the world, famous for its upbeat style, focus on the young career woman and candid discussion of contemporary male/female relationships. Its sister website, cosmopolitan.co.uk, boasts 1 million unique users per month. A brand with international clout, Cosmopolitan is published in 23 languages and has 63 international editions distributed in over 100 countries.
