NET-A-PORTER Group hires Jane Wynyard as Head of PR, Group Publishing

The NET-A-PORTER Group has announced the appointment of Jane Wynyard to the newly-created role of Head of PR, Net-a-Porter Group Publishing.

Formerly Head of PR at Hearst Magazines UK, Jane is responsible for leading the global communications strategy for NET-A-PORTER's game-changing fashion magazine, PORTER, premiere online fashion website, THE EDIT, and the online fashion retailer’s overall media division.

Jane, who joined the NET-A-PORTER group on November 3rd, reports into Lucy Yeomans, Editor-in-Chief of PORTER Magazine and Content Director of the NET-A-PORTER Group, and Tess Macleod-Smith, NET-A-PORTER’s Vice President of Publishing

Before joining the Net-A-Porter Group, Jane was Head of PR for Hearst Magazines UK for seven years where she managed the press office function and oversaw all PR activity for the magazine publisher. She also led consumer and corporate PR for more than 20 of Hearst UK’s digital and print brands including Harper’s Bazaar, Town & Country, ELLE UK, Esquire, and Digital Spy.

A former newspaper and magazine journalist, Jane has more than 17 years’ experience in global and UK PR having also held roles at the BBC, Chellozone and Mission Media as well as the Royal New Zealand Ballet and the New Zealand International Festival of the Arts.
