The programmes have been produced on behalf of UEFA in both English and French by the Network team. The 156-page programmes are packed with insight into the tournament’s matches, exclusive interviews and profiles of players, says Haymarket.
Euro 2016 takes place in 10 venues across France from Lens to Nice, Bordeaux to Lyon and the 200,000 copies of the programmes will be sold on matchdays at the stadium, as well as at the dedicated fan zones in each of the host cities.
The Official Matchday Programme covers all matches up to the semi-finals on 6th - 7th July. The team will then have around 48 hours to produce the final programme in English and French, get content approved by UEFA, printed and then delivered to the stadium by 5pm on the day before the Final.
As well as the Official Matchday Programmes, Network has produced the Official Tournament Preview guide. The newsstand magazine, which was released mid-May, was produced in English and French and licensed in Poland, China, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
Cormac Bourne, Client Service Director, said: "The high quality execution in producing and promoting the programmes so far has been a valiant team effort. They have worked around the clock to come up with some seriously engaging content and stunning design."
Andrew Taplin, Managing Director, Haymarket Network, added: "We first started working with UEFA in 2003, launching Champions, the official UEFA Champions League magazine. In 2009, we produced the first programmes for the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League finals. Now in 2016 we are responsible for the Official Programmes for the Euros 2016 - an impressive feat by the team and a great product."
