New look for The Classic Motorcycle

The Classic Motorcycle, the monthly title from Mortons Media Group, gets a new look with the August issue.

According to distributors COMAG: “Celebrating the motorcycles of yesteryear, The Classic Motorcycle looks back to days gone by through historical based features, bringing the past alive with road tests of painstakingly restored and lovingly preserved machines, as well as regular interviews with many of the personalities involved in the movement, past and present.

Now in its 30th year, The Classic Motorcycle will benefit from a redesign and fresh new look from its August issue that will see several exciting new features introduced. These include a monthly ‘Super Profile’, an in-depth look at a particular machine or innovator/ inventor who has contributed so much to the colourful history of powered two-wheeled transport.

Other new features include ‘Men Who Mattered’, profiles of some of the famous names in motorcycling, ‘Been There, Done That’, showing that nothing is never as new as you think. The new ‘For Various Budgets’ section will have a range of different motorbikes from varying eras and in all sorts of repair, to suit all potential bike buyers.

Old favourites have not been forgotten: The Classic Motorcycle will continue to mine the Mortons Media Group archives for exciting imagery and information on motorcycles from the dawn of motoring to the 1970s and beyond.

Written by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts, The Classic Motorcycle continues to be a monthly celebration of the rich heritage of classic machines, but with new features and a new look to make it a more inclusive and balanced magazine for fans.

The August issue will have reviews of last month’s Isle Of Man TT races, the recent Irish Rally (copies in Ireland will have a separate cover focusing on this), as well as a preview of the ‘2011 VMCC Festival of 1,000 Bikes’ at Mallory Park in early July.”
