Suffolk News Delivery Ltd was established in 2011 by Arron and Jessica Rose, the business was originally based in Claydon just outside of Ipswich with only 30 customers and now boasts over 3,000 customers.
Commenting on the acquisition, NewsTeam’s managing director, Jon Kennett, says: “Too many home news delivery customers are abandoned because retailers don’t realise there is a commercially viable way out via NewsTeam. I am delighted that we have reached agreement with Suffolk News Delivery to acquire the business. We welcome our new colleagues who have serviced their delivery customers to a high standard, in some cases for many years. By acquiring a strong brand such as Suffolk News Delivery, we seek to retain valuable home news delivery customers in the industry as well as providing our industry partners with a larger distribution footprint.”
Suffolk News Delivery Director, Arron Rose, commented: “It was an extremely difficult decision to make, but when we finally decided to sell the business, we were delighted to be able to strike a deal with NewsTeam to continue the network of HND we have built-up and maintained for many years. With their investment in HND, NewsTeam will be able to provide a service our customers have had for many years.
