According to Ozone, the new relationship will be built upon both media and technology solutions, with Autovia’s brands becoming part of Ozone’s audience sell, while at the same time deploying Ozone’s publisher technology to help grow overall digital revenues.
Developed as a separate specialist automotive business in 2021, Autovia was formerly part of the Dennis Group and incorporates titles such as Auto Express, CarThrottle, Driver Power, drivingelectric, Carbuyer, evo, buyacar and Octane. From an editorial stand point, Autovia says they aim to enrich people’s lives through sharing automotive knowledge, enthusiasm and expertise, including accessible, trusted and fun content, enabling consumers to buy with confidence.
In addition to joining Ozone’s media alliance – an offering that delivers incremental audience-driven revenue for publishers – Autovia has also engaged Ozone’s Publisher Services and will deploy the platform’s proprietary technology and expertise to grow total digital revenues. Not only do these services create more revenue value, they also provide the publisher with greater control over their inventory and data assets, says the company.
By offering a single point of access to audiences, the company continued, Ozone’s platform offers a way for advertisers to work with publishers. Where Autovia will continue to deliver rich, cross-media solutions for their advertisers, Ozone’s focus is on delivering scale and depth of audience across a portfolio of quality, content-driven environments. In addition, every new publisher joining the alliance adds greater depth to the context-rich insight and activation capabilities of Ozone’s platform.
This new partnership closely follows Ozone’s most recent publisher signings that have seen Asian Media Group, BuzzFeed UK and HuffPost UK join the alliance.
Dipti Patel, business development director, Ozone said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Autovia into the Ozone family, another partnership that demonstrates our increased capacity to work with publishers of all shapes and sizes. With a portfolio brimming with well known and loved automotive brands, we are excited to be able to incorporate these into our wider media proposition, while at the same time providing new tools and expertise to help maximise advertising investment across the group.”
Melissa Murray, commercial operations director, at Autovia said: “We are delighted to announce our new partnership with Ozone and look forward to implementing this new workstream. Automotive is facing a once in a lifetime transition as it moves to electrification and our digital channels are key to helping consumers on their journey. Ozone’s broadcast offering will certainly complement the rich solutions the Autovia team will continue to deliver for our customers.”
