Roundpoint develops B2B apps for Menzies Distribution

Roundpoint, the web and mobile solutions provider has created iPhone and Android apps for Menzies Distribution.

The i-Menzies apps provide a new level of convenience to retail customers. They can now inform Menzies whether they need a resupply of publications, or a credit, straight from the shop floor. There is now less likelihood of errors being made and the task of communicating with Menzies is much quicker and easier than before.

According to Roundpoint, the apps have received 5 star ratings with customer reviews at Apple's app store such as "Must say, someone needs a pat on the back for this", "Top service, brilliant initiative, customer obviously coming first. Keep it up" and "Great work. I wish more suppliers would take this approach."

The apps allow the retail customer to review a day's delivery note, check any variations on actual receipt and request a re-supply or a credit.

The apps speed up the whole process and improve communication, for example the apps remind customers that reordering resupplies can only be done between 10am and 4pm - previously customers would try to order outside of these timeframes. Speaking about the Roundpoint designed apps, Andy Barr, Senior Project Manager says: "We are delighted with these iPhone and Android apps - they will save our customers a lot of time and energy and us a significant amount of money. Menzies is embracing digital in deploying these apps for a B2B environment."
