Stuff unveils new-look responsive website

Stuff, Haymarket’s gadget magazine, has unveiled its new-look website, featuring a fresh design, enhanced functionality and a technology platform built for rapid international expansion.

The new responsive layout transforms the user experience for Stuff’s army of gadget fans, seamlessly delivering an optimised version on desktop, smartphone and tablet, says Haymarket.

Stuff Editor Will Findlater commented: “With this relaunch, Stuff has reclaimed its place at the forefront of web innovation. The new Stuff.tv combines the latest tech news and analysis with in-depth reviews of the gadgets, apps and web services that matter, but now makes this class-leading content easier than ever for readers to access and share.”

Commercially, clients will benefit from clearer ad placements, enhanced mobile ad formats and improved targeting capabilities by both device and territory.

The website has been built in-house using an open-source content management system, which enables Haymarket to rapidly launch Stuff.tv into international markets, complementing the brand’s print portfolio which encompasses 24 different territories around the world.

Publishing Director, Martyn Jones said: “The Stuff brand has an unrivalled global footprint, and international digital expansion is at the heart of our future strategy. The new Stuff.tv platform will allow us to quickly launch into existing print territories while targeting new emerging markets with a consistent approach.”

The website relaunch follows on from last month’s unveiling of the new-look magazine and iPad app.

Jones added: “These UK relaunches are just the first step for Stuff in 2013. We’ve got exciting plans to roll this out across the world and continue innovating over the coming months.”
