The NewstrAid Benevolent Fund, still affectionately known as “Old Ben” is the newstrade’s own charity. For over 170 years it has helped needy individuals from the distribution section of newspaper and magazine publishing.
Every single order for any of the 850 magazines listed on the Magazine Group will generate the £8 donation.
“Tens of thousands of magazine subscriptions are bought as Christmas gifts,” says Don Brown of the Magazine Group. “If just a small proportion of these are ordered via www.magazine-group.co.uk/newstraid we’ll be able to make a significant contribution to help people from our industry who have fallen on hard times.”
