Telegraph partners with Hyundai

Telegraph Media Group (TMG) has partnered with Hyundai Motor UK to produce an innovative video-led campaign, which launched on Saturday, 15th February, to promote its New Generation i10 model.

The multiplatform campaign, entitled ‘do more’, will see Hyundai and TMG inspire the nation to do more with their lives in 2014. The campaign will run for two months and TMG will produce a new and bespoke piece of inspirational content for each day of the 60-day campaign. The Telegraph’s audience will be encouraged to learn, see and try new things when visiting the ‘do more’ bespoke hub which will include over 200 inspirational suggestions over the course of the campaign.

A key part of the campaign will be a unique video series on The Telegraph, which will see TV personality and author Arabella Weir interview inspirational talent such as journalist Toby Young and Olympic Gold medallist James Cracknell, whilst driving them to their desired location in a Hyundai i10.

The launch of the campaign on Saturday included a portal overlay takeover, cover flash advertisement on the front of The Daily Telegraph promoting a car giveaway, a part takeover of the Weekend section and the launch of the ‘do more’ online hub.

Darren Burroughs, Creative Solutions Manager, TMG, said: “This new partnership with Hyundai to promote its new i10 model couldn’t be more appropriate for a trusted and innovative brand such as TMG. The frequency of the messaging and volume of first-class digital content that The Telegraph will create during the campaign will truly underpin the positive perceptions of Hyundai as a brand which inspires people to ‘do more’ in 2014.”

Andrew Cullis, Marketing Director, Hyundai Motor UK, said: “Hyundai wants to create a more rewarding experience for its customers by inspiring people in their everyday lives. The New Generation i10 is an enabler for our customers to ‘do more’ on a daily basis and it is this ethos that has driven this campaign with TMG.”

As part of the campaign, TMG will also work with a variety of third party brands to offer relevant discounts and giveaways to readers, inspiring them to ‘do more’.
