The Guardian and Observer says Refugee Councils of Britain champions the rights of refugees and gives them practical support to help with rebuild their lives; Refugees at Home, which connects hundreds of volunteer hosts who have a spare room with homeless refugees and asylum seekers in desperate need of somewhere safe to stay; and NACCOM who are a UK-wide network of over 130 frontline organisations and charities, which provide a local safety net for asylum seekers and refugees facing homelessness and destitution.
This year, the Guardian Bookshop says it will also be donating 20p from every sale to the charity appeal during the campaign.
You can read more about the charity appeal in a launch piece by Guardian News & Media editor-in-chief, Katharine Viner.
