Top Santé publishes interactive issue

Bauer Media’s Top Santé has partnered with Blippar, the mobile augmented reality platform, for its first ever interactive issue.

In an innovative new move for the health magazine market the February Fitness Special issue of Top Santé, on sale now, will be brought to life through Blippar Augmented Reality technology.

Readers can experience the first ever interactive issue by downloading a free Blippar app which allows them to enjoy interactive content throughout the issue, say the publishers.

By ‘blipping’ the pages, readers will be able to become a Top Sante cover star, try out new hair styles and up their fitness ante by watching step-by-step exercise moves in a special fitness pull-out section.

Editor Jane Druker commented: “This special extra content for our New Year issue will be a complete workout plan to get your body in brilliant shape for 2014, as devised by leading fitness expert Richard Callender. Readers will find out their “fitness age” by doing a quick exercise test and then will be given a workout plan that’ll help to reduce it.”

This marks the eighth issue under Jane Druker, who began her role as editor in March 2013.

Top Santé is Bauer’s “holistic, accessible and friendly” monthly magazine aimed at 30-40 something women with a keen interest in health, beauty and wellbeing.
