Vogue celebrates record breaking issue

The March issue of Vogue contains 275 advertising pages, the largest number in a March issue in the history of the magazine.

This is an increase of 27 pages year on year, says Condé Nast.

Stephen Quinn, Vogue’s Publishing Director says, “We are noticing a significant bounce from the announcement of our centenary plans. March surprised us all by being up a stunning 27 pages to a record high for a March issue with 275 pages. It is a magnificent beginning to the centenary and the response from the fashion and beauty world proves that Vogue remains the definitive fashion magazine, with print still very much at its heart.”

Brands advertising in Vogue for the first time this month are Christopher Kane and ba&sh. There are also twelve advertisers new to the March issue including Apple Watch, Marni, Marc Jacobs Beauty, UBS, Issey Miyake and Mango.

The March issue will be supported by an advertising campaign comprising advertisements in The Times and the London Evening Standard.

On sale from yesterday, the issue is the International Collections Special. Featuring Edie Campbell on the cover, it is accompanied by a ‘Shop the Season; What to buy and how to wear it’ supplement in association with Westfield.
