August refreshes IKEA mag

Following trials in 2008, IKEA have decided to move the IKEA Family Live magazine distribution to 100% direct mail. The magazine, published by August Media, will change distribution as of the Autumn 2009 issue.

Thinking that the move to direct mail increases the value of the magazine for advertisers and following a review of the account, Publicom have been appointed to handle the advertising and insert sales.

IKEA Family Live magazine will launch in the Republic of Ireland this autumn to coincide with the opening of the first store in Dublin. August Media now publishes the magazine in 24 languages, one of the biggest customer magazines in the world.
