Auto Trader introduces Flexible Packages

Auto Trader has introduced Flexible Packages, a tailored combination of core products and services to meet the specific needs of independent dealers.

The packages can be adapted to the individual needs of a dealer providing greater choice, flexibility and value. The essential basic products include Dealer Portal & Dealer Portal Mobile, market research, lead generation analysis, Price Index report, dedicated one-to-one training, account management and support.

According to Auto Trader, a recent extensive dealer survey revealed that while Auto Trader’s individual core products and services met the needs of many independent dealers there was room for improvement. The new Flexible Packages now provide the flexibility and value expected, especially when trying to meet the demands of an ever-changing market. They can be tailored for specific requirements such as advertising of stock, managing and pricing of stock, lead generation, dealership promotion or providing market research and analysis to identify improvements in dealers operations and potential. In addition Flexible Packages support the development of a dealer’s digital marketing strategy.

Nathan Coe, Group Director, Auto Trader said: “We recently asked 2,500 dealers how we were doing, what we could do better and how we could work smarter to support their businesses. The feedback has resulted in a number of new initiatives including the Customer Value Promise, the introduction of Report this Ad, the PULSE reports and now Flexible Packages, examples of how Auto Trader not only listens but also responds and demonstrating once again our commitment to work smarter for our dealer customers. Flexible Packages provides dealer customers more choice, with a range of options designed to suit specific needs, more flexibility around payments, quicker stock changes and more value than ever before. Ultimately, Flexible Packages continue to deliver our dealer adverts in the channels where buyers are searching.”
