Bauer showcases key brands at Bauer Live

Bauer Media has hosted a 'Bauer Live' event to illustrate to commercial partners the “reach, influence, engagement and unique cross-platform offer” of the Bauer Media portfolio.

Bauer Live, presented by Chief Executive, Paul Keenan, and Group MD of Radio, Dee Ford, took place at The Victoria House, Southampton Row on 10 November 2010 in front of 400 customers, with the aim of informing, entertaining and updating customers of the power of Bauer Media's magazine, radio, TV and digital brands.

A heat bar, a purpose-built Empire cinema and interactive installations from Radio, Grazia, Q, FHM and Box TV all featured at the event, culminating in a live performance from Grammy Award-winning singer, Duffy.

Bauer Media also used Bauer Live to unveil a new commercial creative collaboration - Bauer ACCESS - representing an investment in a dedicated senior team to drive original content while working in collaboration with its commercial partners.

Bauer ACCESS will be led by Broadcast Sales and Cross Media Director Karen Stacey with support from senior creative leaders Darren Khan, Brent Coulson, Joe Evea and Steve Taylor, who between them have worked on several recent successful bespoke cross media campaigns including Russian Standard, Orange, Barclaycard and Sony Ericsson.

A series of open-access sessions to Bauer Media's editors and programmers will kick off in January 2011 to which Clients and Agencies are invited.

Karen Stacey commented: "Bauer Live's aim was to collectively showcase that we produce the most influential brands in the media with an unrivalled cross-platform offer, and deliver proof that we are closer, more personal and more connected to the communities we serve than our competitors.

Our ambition for Bauer ACCESS is to provide clients and agencies with increased access to editors, programmers and the key creators of our content - and a route to build deeper connections with audiences.
