BPS partnership with Redactive Media

Redactive Media Group and the British Psychological Society have agreed a partnership to enhance advertising opportunities with the Society.

London-based Redactive Media Group has taken over the advertising services for the Society’s in-house monthly magazine The Psychologist. The five year contract includes all display and jobs advertising. It represents the premium advertising opportunity to reach over 48,000 Society members across all areas of psychology, says Redactive.

The British Psychological Society (BPS) has represented psychology and psychologists since 1901. It is the second largest psychological society in the world. Through its Royal Charter, the Society is charged with promoting the advancement and diffusion of the science of psychology and its application.

Russell Hobbs, the Society’s Finance Director commented: “This partnership with Redactive Media will help our organization to creatively develop and enhance advertising and sponsorship links with a broad range of external companies. Redactive Media has specialist knowledge to promote opportunities for companies to talk directly to our membership which includes psychologists across all career stages and from a wide range of professional and academic expertise.

“We are very positive about this partnership. It will build on the solid foundations and links we have established over many years, but we certainly are looking to broaden our horizons with Redactive’s specialist help”.

Jason Grant, Publishing Director for Redactive said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with the British Psychological Society as we look to strengthen the Society’s position as the leading information source for UK based psychologists. The combination of the Society’s editorial expertise, coupled with Redactive’s strength in the recruitment and display advertising markets, can only serve to increase opportunities for the membership and the Society. We look forward to a rewarding and long-term partnership”.
