CDS expands Australia operation

CDS Global has appointed Jon Westnedge as business development consultant for its Australian operation.

In this newly created position, Westnedge will be responsible for developing new publishing business for CDS Global Australia. He will also identify new market opportunities for CDS Global to expand their suite of solutions and services.

Mark Judd, managing director for CDS Global UK & Australia, commented on the appointment: "I am delighted that Westnedge is joining CDS Global. He has a strong background in business development and excellent experience in publishing. New trends in publishing require CDS Global to continue to evolve and Jon’s knowledge of the industry will bolster our long-term strategy. I am confident he will have an immediate impact."

Westnedge spent the last 17 years working in the publishing and media sectors. For the past two years, he has been responsible for implementing B2B technology websites and lead generation for Dennis Publishing UK, where he was digital publishing director. He has been responsible for successfully building brands and products, across all media streams for: Haymarket Media UK & Australia, ZDNet Australia (Sydney), TNT Magazine (London) and IPC Magazines (London).
